Extracting a Feature from the Raster Image on the Basis of Attribute value in ESRI’s ArcMap

Many time when we are doing analysis of raster files we need a single feature in a single raster file. this can be easily done by a facility “Extract by Attribute” avilable in ArcMap.

How to Prepare Ground Truth Image for Error Matrix (Accuracy Assesment) in IDRISI

A ground truth image is the image prepaired by user on the basis of ground verification and it is used for varifying the accuracy of any stastical classification. We usually classify images using various classifiers such as Parallelepiped , Fuzzy, Minimum distance , Maximum Likelihood classification etc. To verify the accuracy of these classifications we usually go for Error Matrix Analysis (Accuracy Assesment) in IDRISI, where this module is avilable with name of ERRMAT. read More..

Dashlet Mapping is more configurable now!

GPS Insight has made it easier to get your Dashlet maps exactly how you need them by introducing “Map Groups” to the map-aware dashlets.

You can assign each map and each dashlet a letter A, B, C, or D.

Then whenever you click on a vehicle name, the appropriate map will display that vehicle’s location.

New Panic Alert and Power Cycle Alerts

We have had a few customers require alert for both panic buttons which they wire to our GO-3000 and GPSI-4000 devices, as well as “power cycle” alerts (due to tampering, battery changes, etc.).

They are now there, and here is how to use them:

GPS Insight keeps 3 years of your GPS data

Most of our competitors give you 3 months of history availability, maybe 6.

Starting in June of 2007, GPS Insight has kept every bit of our customers’ data indefinitely (unless they specifically ask otherwise).
